At RÊVE, we believe in the power of community, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of those who strive for a better tomorrow. Founded by a group of Cameroonians and Cameroonian Americans, our journey stems from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals living in remote villages across West Africa and those who have embarked on the path of immigration to the United States.
About
Who we are
Our mission
In remote villages where access to basic amenities such as power, water, and connectivity is scarce, daily life can be an uphill battle. We recognize this struggle firsthand. That's why our mission is twofold.
Firstly, we are committed to empowering communities in rural areas by implementing sustainable solutions that enhance their quality of life. From providing access to Starlink internet and installing solar panels to drilling wells for clean water and distributing educational materials, we aim to alleviate the burdens of daily life and lay the groundwork for future success.
Secondly, we extend our support to families from these West African communities who have immigrated to the Pacific Northwest of the United States. We understand the daunting transition they face, navigating a new country with unfamiliar systems and resources. Through our network of support, we strive to ease this transition by providing guidance on housing, access to essential resources like food stamps and food banks, and assistance in English language proficiency.
